# FaceIQ Labs

> FaceIQ Labs is an AI facial analysis and appearance self-improvement app at https://www.faceiqlabs.com/. From a front photo and a side-profile photo it maps facial landmarks and scores the face from 0 to 10 across four pillars (Harmony, Angularity, Dimorphism and Features), using 70+ facial ratios and 100+ metrics. It then gives a personalised improvement plan, simulations on the user's own photo, an AI assistant (FaceGPT) and progress tracking over time. Side-profile analysis is free; Basic is $24.99/month and Pro $49.99/month.

This is the site summary for AI assistants and agents ([llms.txt](https://llmstxt.org)). The full Help Center and every facial-ratio guide are in one file: https://www.faceiqlabs.com/llms-full.txt. Any Help Center page is available as Markdown by adding `.md` to its URL (for example https://www.faceiqlabs.com/support/plans.md) or by requesting it with `Accept: text/markdown`.

## About

- **What it is:** a self-improvement system for appearance. People measure their face, get a plan, and re-analyse over time to see what changed. More than 1.3 million users and 1.4 million analyses.
- **Who it is for:** adults (18+) who want an objective, repeatable read of their facial proportions and features and a plan to improve them. Sign-in is with Google; there is no password.
- **What the scores are:** objective geometry measured from landmarks, compared with ideal ranges from published aesthetic research and adjusted for the gender and ethnicity the user selects. They are a structured guide, not a verdict, and nothing on the site is medical advice.
- **Celebrity wiki:** public face ratings and full facial analyses of celebrities, using the same ratios, with rankings, a harmony look-alike match and comparisons: https://www.faceiqlabs.com/celebs-wiki
- **Help Center:** https://www.faceiqlabs.com/support explains every score, ratio, tool, plan and policy.

## How it works

1. **Sign in with Google.**
2. **Upload a front photo and a side profile.** Both are needed for a complete Harmony score: about 60% of it comes from the front view and 40% from the side. Photo quality is the biggest factor in accuracy (https://www.faceiqlabs.com/support/photos).
3. **Review the landmarks.** AI places the anatomical points every measurement uses (pupils, nose tip, jaw angles and so on). Users can check and move each point by hand.
4. **Get the analysis.** Measurements are compared with ideal ranges and organised into the four pillars, each scored 0–10, plus an overall score and a list of strengths and flaws with the score impact of each.
5. **Act on it and re-analyse.** Pro adds an action plan ranked by impact, treatment simulations on the user's photo and FaceGPT. Progress tracking compares analyses over time.

## Scores

- Everything uses one 0–10 scale. 5 is the population average and the scale is non-linear: a 7 is about the 94th percentile (1 in 18), an 8 about the 99.6th (1 in 250).
- **Harmony** (proportion): 70+ ratios and angles measured from landmarks on the front and side photos, each scored against an ideal range and weighted by how much it affects perceived attractiveness. A guide to each of the 71 measurements is listed below.
- **Angularity** (definition): cheekbone prominence, jaw definition, cheek leanness, chin definition and submental (under-chin) definition, each rated on a soft-to-defined morph.
- **Dimorphism** (masculine or feminine): ten regions (jaw, brow ridge, eyebrow thickness, eyes, face shape, facial hair, hair length, hairline, lips, nose) scored against the ideal for the selected gender.
- **Features** (quality, not shape): about thirty assessments of skin, under-eyes, creasing, sclera, eyelids, nose shape, hair health, brows and lashes, and symmetry, rated by a vision model.
- **Overall score:** not an average. A power mean that heavily penalises the weakest pillar, so four 7s give 7.0 but three 8s and a 4 give about 6.7. Improving the weakest pillar moves it most.
