BSSO surgery and genioplasty

On the 9th September, I’m going to the orthodontic clinic to get a treatment plan for braces. I want to tell them that I want BSSO surgery (lower jaw surgery) and genioplasty. If it works out and my insurance covers it, I’d only have to pay for the genioplasty—that’s the best-case scenario. Does anyone here have any experience or information that could help me, or any tips on how to make my chin look bigger for now? Do you think my insurance would cover it?

If your under 18 i think you would have a small chance. Also for the meantime you could jut (resting posture on your bottom and top front teeth). I have an overjet and have coped jutting the past couple of years and now its like my jaw has adapted to that as my resting posture.
Thanks for the message. I'm in the Czech Republic, and here it's actually the opposite—the younger I am, the better the chances are that the insurance company will cover it. Right now, I'm in a position where both my teeth are touching, but I've heard that's bad for the TMJ joints.
