Brow ridge - a topic that isn't talked about enough imo
First of all why do we have one and what is it's use. We have one because our body evolves our years to adapt to certain circumstances like wolfs law and iq aiming and all so using this our body adapts. Why would our body make a brow ridge? To protect the eye in combat.
A theory.
1. You may know Boxers have Denser brow ridges I couldn't directly find any studies but it's a proven fact. Why? Because they take more hits to the Brow bone - now I'm not saying bone smashing directly correlates with this as it only causes bone growth in a localised area due to pure symmetry of hammers, while the human hand strikes a brow ridge without such symmetry.
This suggests boxers have thicker brow ridges because they fight more and take more and harder hits to the brow ridge than the average person.
So my theory comes in now, will partaking in striking combat sports cause greater brow ridge in puberty? Because I believe so.
If anyone else has any personal evidence of this theory then dm.
it's cuz the ones without prominent brow ridges took hits to the eye and had to stop
True its Like Professional swimmers they swim BC they are genetically tall and broad
