My dad continues to be against me eating a more natural diet.
One day I was making 5 eggs, as I usually do before school in the mornings. As i’m cooking them, my dad says to me, “I should stop buying eggs for you, they give you heart disease.” I ignored him and continued cooking. He added, “Your cholesterol levels are going to kill you.” I looked over at him and just said that they won’t. He didn’t respond to me. I have had countless arguments with him about diet, and he never really acknowledges what evidence I am giving him to why I eat the way I do. What can I say or do to get him more onboard with the way i’m eating?
i dont like encouraging this but you can eat behind his back or alone. some parents or siblings just stares what your eating like for parents just ignore it and dont be rude cuz they might be the one providing the food so he might say u wasted the eggs . i remmber some time i cooked 3 eggs in a soup and my dad was like EGG! IN SOUP😅
You’re probably never going to convince him. Sadly our parents, and grandparents are the most brainwashed generations. Explain to him what you believe, and why you believe it. Don’t argue, adults hate debating children, for many reasons. If he decides he isn’t going to let you eat x food, I would listen to him but do it in the least way possible. For example if he says you need to stop eating 5 eg…
Thank you
Also be chill with your dad he might be brainwashed and silly but he’s still your father
Passive Approach: if I my parents were against it I'd say, "Dad, let me do this diet for x time, then we can go do a blood test." If this doesn't work then the next option might. Aggressive Approach: Threaten to rope and tell him that this is who you are now.
Don’t do either of these
The first one the issue is if he’s worried about cholesterol, and he tests for it it’s gonna be higher on an animal based diet. The disagreement is whether having a higher cholesterol matters. Don’t do the second one for obvious reasons.
Tell him to F off and embrace his primal son ✌️😮💨
😭
Lol do that and your gonna see a belt flying at you real quick
Especially with “boder” parents
It's impossible to convince old people
