Infraorbital implants uncertainty

I’ve been thinking about getting infraorbital implants once I’m fully developed since I’ve got a negative orbital vector (around -4mm). From what I understand it could improve under-eye support, smooth out the tear trough, and make the eye area look more compact and less tired overall.
I know it’s a pretty niche and technical procedure though, so I’m trying to figure out if it’s actually worth it in a moderate case like mine. Does anyone know how predictable the results are, what the main risks are (like asymmetry, nerve stuff, overcorrection), and how surgeons decide how much projection to add?
Would appreciate any insight from people who know about it.
