When I ask anyone within the lm space if they are shallow they always say no. This is the most annoying thing ever, we are all shallow. I can still see this idiocy in normal conversations I have. Hey do you think your average intelligence? "No of course not bro! It's the next guy." Nobody can be average anymore. Except for me though, i'm that one in a million.
the thought that probably all of your friends had after they went home. The version of us that we want other people to see is very different to how we view ourselves. Tbh I think it's a healthy behavior that we don't want to admit to being average or bad in front of the others, Especially in the fields where you can't prove other people wrong on the spot, or at all.
