Its a steak I got from a butcher and it isn't grass fed but wheat fed which is bad but that's the nearest butcher I have and I was curious of the taste, the cut was very fatty, the reason I am not very scared is that I ate rare hamburger patties from the supermarket a ton and never had any issues, didn't know that's something you aren't supposed to do.
It tastes like white cheese with little taste, kinda like string cheese those snack cheese sticks you give to children, but its juicy and has a faint but notable acidity to it, a 3/10 imo but I am a picky eater and 3/10 for me means edible but not tasty at all, idk what do you guys think? is the taste mid because of the quality of the meat?
how do you tell if a steak is grass fed / wheat fed at the butchers? im too nd to go and ask them
I ask but I am pretty socially awkward, I look at it like that, each time I ask I become more confident at it, you can do it!
i replied to you (just in case this gets deleted via the bug)
"you can do it!" man i love this community alr 😭😭 (seriously thanks for the motivation)
Also if you want to ask then ask them if it's grass finished not just "grass fed"!!
not grass fed meat is shitttt i cant stand the fat taste, grass fed is worth every penny
