In what ways are a raw carnivore diet better than a one where you cook your meat and eggs?
The only arguments I’ve seen with scientific validity to them are the loss of micronutrients and the formation of dAGEs (which have weak evidence showing they promote cancer)
I eat around 1.5kg grassfed beef (or 9 large eggs in 50g butter with 1kg beef) sometimes with added 100-150g grassfed lamb fat so the loss of micronutrients doesn't matter to me as I’m abundant in nutrition. I don’t see how the reward here outweighs the risk.
I’m not one to follow RDAs but i’m just unsure how much do we really need to be optimal. I’m leaning towards going full lion diet but worried about the little sodium and calcium content.
By the way I’d like to hear your opinion on salting foods and electrolyte balance. I’ve heard many don’t salt their foods at all which does sound intuitive to me but the sodium content is around 1g in that amount of beef which seems very little (and also very little calcium)
age's are bad cuz they glycate you, you dont want that, probally wont cause cancer in one way but in another, depending on your cancer view point. research the metabolic cause of cancer by dr seyfried
