hi,
For majority of my life I have lived thinking I was better or above what I actually was. Whether that was soccer, school, looks or anything else I constantly overvalued myself. Recently I acknowledged that I was being cocky and arrogant, I realized that everything I was doing in life was being deluded by my mindset. This led to me developing this bad habit of being insecure and timorous. I live life putting myself under others, worried that I'm going to resort back to my old habits.
I'm stuck contradicting myself. I don't know how to be "normally confident" but I also don't want to come across as sheepish.
Given that, I need help. I don't know where to start or what to do to try and fix this mindset so I'm turning to the internet. If anyone has any tips or strategies, I would appreciate it.
thanks.
Focus just on the work you are putting in not the outcome...don't look at the pump after training or at your looks.measure your worth not from what you are but only from how much work you are putting in so you can have the confidence ...that you may not be better than most people but you know for a fact that you outwork them...hope this mindset helps
