Should I consume carbs during puberty to maximise growth?

Many people are suggesting eat a lot of carbs in puberty to reach genetic potential for development and height, I'm not sure what to believe.

Carbs are essential for development , but don’t overdo it, most of your diet should be protein then carbs and fats, since your in development, avoid trash carbs and just eat milk, fruits and maybe honey
The main reason people encourage carbs during puberty is because it raises insulin, which increases the livers sensitivity to growth hormone, which in turn increases igf-1 production. Igf-1 is important because it signals to chondrocytes (cartilage cells that make up the growth plates) to divide which drives bone development. The best evidence comes from children with treatment resistant epilepsy since a ketogenic diet is often prescribed to manage symptoms. Most the data on this is observational, though, so it is somewhat limited. PMID: 36634525 PMID: 12455855

The issue with the second long-term study seems to be that they don't really define a "ketogenic diet". Are we feeding them brain, liver, and muscle meat or avocados and keto bread? Another glaring fact is that the diets were intended to restrict weight gain. This is obviously not conducive to growth. There's similarly no record of animal protein consumption. Overall poor study.
It's a fair criticism, however most children aren't eating brain or liver during puberty. I still don't really see any benefit to a ketogenic diet during development.
Bro really used his opinion after, but yeah carnivore is not ketogenic its high protein, keto diets are low in protein, carnivore diet essentially is a low carb meat diet, keto usually means really low carb, carnivore has a ton of protein for glucose
Carnivore is not ketogenic , a big meal can kick you out of ketosis for five hours, it gives periods of ketosis. The problem about actual keto diets is low protein and low meat overall (more plants, nuts, oils, etc. Carnivore is optimal overall and excess insulin suppresses HGH.
Do you mean primal? A carnivore diet is a fully ketogenic diet

yea i wish i got to stay longer, but we r jst gonn stay for a month..But then probably go again few months later for 2 motnh
Carbs make you full, they don’t provide anything they just make you not want to eat
they upregulate ghrelin which sends signals to make you hungrier. Fiber and filling the stomach technically make you full, but fat is the most satiating

Going to my home country next week..and my village has Sh ton of raw milk, high tier eggs, meat..Do ya think abt a month of eating them would help me grow? or ascend in any way? im still gonn eat them tho
Will probably not ascend you overnight but you will see the difference...I would be better if you would stay there longer
if you drink as much raw milk as you can for a month you might see a little growth spurt (assuming youre in development)
The IGF-1 there does not matter at all, your body will not absorb it properly, but overall Raw Milk and Colostrum obviously will help you grow because it's what all baby mammalians drink to get big.
Carbs are not essential, according to frost, meat is the best way in order to develop and grow, especially raw. Carbs are just energy, there's no nutrients for you to grow.
No you shouldn’t you should eat a lot of fats to be in ketosis carbs won’t do anything good for you and it’ll be better if you are in ketosis
