I've been delving into the research on adult height optimization, and I came across a compelling TikTok creator, Mr. Wolla (@mrwollas), who claims to have gained approximately 2 inches in height over just three months through a structured intervertebral expansion routine.
The core protocol involves cycling between spinal decompression (traction/unloading phases) and controlled recompression (loading phases). The underlying idea is that this rhythmic mechanical stress reactivates or enhances the adaptive capacity of the intervertebral discs, potentially through improved disc hydration, osmotic pressure dynamics, and mechanotransduction signaling, effectively increasing disc thickness and, by extension, overall stature.
While there's a deeper body of science around disc remodeling, nutrient diffusion under cyclic loading, and even some clinical observations on disc height restoration, I tend to tune out the excessive technical "yap" and focus on the practical signal: consistent anecdotal and preliminary evidence suggests that alternating decompression with strategic recompression can shift one's spinal baseline upward more effectively than static hanging alone.
It's an intriguing, low risk experiment in applied biomechanics, worth testing rigorously if heightmaxxing is a priority.
Any height gain would probably be temporary and likely moderate, the same way you're taller in the morning due to decompression. But it's a low impact exercise that is good for posture and spinal health anyway. So I'd say it's worth trying.
2 inches gain is physically impossible for such things. 1-2 cm max. But anyways you gain those temporary height right after sleep. Also the its not a low risk because if your doing too aggresively it can damage spinal ligaments and facet joints
ok...
Physically impossible according to you but the guy literally got 2 inches taller
Interesting.
Most of that is cope your not getting any taller just decompressing spine
The spine has intra-vertebral plates that fuse & close when spine is compressed that’s why exercises like squats are not advised cause they compress the spine & limit height growth. So this post is likely not cope
they decompress and rehydrate during sleep
I meant most of the online adult height hacks are cope in my opinion
