General
What does FaceIQ Labs actually do?
It measures your face. From a front and a side photo we place anatomical landmarks, calculate seventy facial ratios and angles, and assess definition, dimorphism and feature quality with vision models. The result is a 0–10 score per pillar, an overall score, and a ranked list of what is helping and hurting. See How FaceIQ Labs works.
How accurate is it?
The measurements are exact geometry once the landmarks are right, and the ideal ranges come from published research. The weak link is landmark placement, which is why you can review and move every point yourself. See Why is my rating inaccurate?
How was the Harmony system built?
The Harmony system was originally developed by Creating Attractive by combining ideal ranges and weightings from hundreds of papers in cosmetic surgery and cephalometric analysis. He is now part of our team, and the system has since been extended with additional measurements, gender- and ethnicity-specific ranges, and the three assessment pillars.
Does it account for ethnicity?
Yes. Ideal ranges are adjusted for the ethnicity (or ethnicities) and gender you select, so you are not measured against a standard that does not represent your background. You can change these under Options and the scores recalculate.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The whole flow, including landmark editing, works in a mobile browser. For landmark editing a larger screen is more comfortable but not required.
Can I improve my score?
Some of it, yes. Features (skin, under-eyes, hair) and Angularity (leanness, definition) respond to habits, grooming and treatment. Harmony and Dimorphism are largely structural. Pro includes a personalised action plan with non-invasive and surgical options, simulations on your own photo, and progress tracking. See the Action Plan and Simulate guides.
How do I ask questions about my own results?
Open FaceGPT with your analysis selected. You can ask about measurements, compare scans, work on your plan and explore simulations. The FaceGPT guide explains the modes and includes prompts to try.
Photos, landmarks & scores
Why is my rating inaccurate?
Usually because the AI placed a landmark a few millimetres off, or the photo was taken too close. The measurements themselves are exact once the points are right. Adjust them on any analysis (Options → Edit Landmarks), or choose Manual review on your next scan if you want full accuracy — the AI still places a first pass, then you check every point. Full walkthrough in Why is my rating inaccurate?
What is the best photo to take?
Back camera, about six feet away, at eye level, neutral expression, even light, hair off the face and ears. Details in Taking the right photos.
Why is my score lower (or higher) than I expected?
Usually one of three things: a photo taken too close (which lengthens the nose and face), a misplaced landmark, or the fact that 5 is average and 7 is already the top 6%. Check your landmarks first; then read Understanding your scores for how the scale works.
I mapped a point wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes, at any time and without using a scan. Options → Edit Landmarks, click the point, drag it, save. Everything recalculates. See how to check and fix landmarks.
I am not sure where a landmark goes.
Every landmark has a description and reference image in the editor. If you are still unsure, post a screenshot in the Discord and someone will point you to the right spot.
An Angularity / Dimorphism / Features rating seems wrong.
Open the assessment and choose Retake. You are shown a morph from one extreme to the other; drag it to match your face and save. The guides for each assessment are in the Angularity, Dimorphism and Features sections.
Can I do a front-only analysis?
Yes, after your first full scan. Skipping the side photo means no side measurements, so your Harmony score is front-only and some flaws (chin recession, convexity) cannot be detected.
Billing
Where is my receipt?
Profile → Billing lists every charge with a receipt link. Manage Billing opens the Stripe portal for invoices and card changes. See Plans, upgrades & receipts.
How do I cancel?
Profile → Plan → Cancel subscription. Access continues to the end of the paid period; nothing is deleted. See Cancelling your subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Within 14 days of a payment, if you have not generated or unlocked an analysis since and have not been refunded before. Unlocking reveals your score and counts as using the software. For Pro, using simulations, unlocking an action plan, or sending messages to FaceGPT after the payment also counts as usage. Start from Refunds — the request on that page checks this for you. For duplicate payments, contact support in all cases, even if you do not meet these conditions. Each duplicate payment will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
I was charged after cancelling.
That should not happen. Email support@faceiqlabs.com with the date you cancelled and the charge, and we will refund it.
Account & help
Are my photos private?
Yes. They are visible only to you unless you create a share link, are never sold, and are not used to train our models unless you opt in. See Account, photos & privacy.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete Account. The flow lets you cancel an active subscription immediately with no refund, erase your analyses and photos, and then confirm permanent account deletion. Financial transaction records are retained for accounting.
I cannot get into my account.
Make sure you are signing in with the same Google account you used originally. If Google sign-in itself fails, try another browser or clear cookies for the site. Still stuck? Email support@faceiqlabs.com.
I found a bug.
Thank you. Post it in the Discord or send it through Contact support with what you did, what you expected and a screenshot. Bugs are fixed quickly but do not qualify for refunds under our terms.
Can I request a feature?
Please do. The Discord has a channel for it and the team reads everything. Requests that come up repeatedly shape what we build next.
