Why it matters
This describes how much the ears contribute to the front-view silhouette. It compares their lateral extent with the face width, not with the width of the ears themselves.
- Lower: a smaller average horizontal ear-to-cheek gap.
- Higher: a larger average horizontal ear-to-cheek gap.
